Project Details:

This project involved the refurbishment of the Centre Management offices and customer toilet facilities at Broughton Retail Park, delivering upgraded office accommodation and modern welfare facilities while maintaining the day-to-day operation of the centre management team.

The existing offices and welfare areas were fully stripped out prior to refurbishment, with the project delivered in two carefully planned phases to allow the client to remain operational throughout the works.

The scope of works included the installation of new energy-efficient lighting and upgraded electrical services, together with a renewable air source heat pump to provide hot water for the office and welfare facilities. A new Heat Recovery Unit (HRU) and air conditioning system were installed to provide efficient heating, cooling and ventilation, improving occupant comfort and overall energy performance.

The customer toilet and shower facilities were completely refurbished, incorporating new vinyl flooring, full-height wall tiling, and the installation of a new IPS system with Vanesta sanitaryware, including basins and urinals.

The office refurbishment included the installation of new carpet flooring, supply and installation of new office furniture in accordance with the architect’s design, full internal redecoration, and the addition of feature timber batten walls and bespoke signage to create a contemporary working environment.

The completed project provides modern, energy-efficient office accommodation and customer welfare facilities, incorporating renewable heating technologies and upgraded building services while ensuring uninterrupted operation throughout the construction programme.
