Home Bargains, operating under the trading name TJ Morris Ltd, is a UK-based, family-run discount retailer.
Project Details:
This 6 month design and Build project was set out to strip out the store from a previous tenant and create a new space for Home bargains to move into.
The initial strip out works included removing the existing roof, entrance steel-work frame and the front fascia. We broke out the internal screed in order to expose the pad foundations needed for the new steels, and allow for new drainage routes.
The foul and storm drainage was then routed internally and externally, also installing new service ducts for power, BT, water, Lighting, EV charger and ANPR.
The new steels were designed and installed, followed by recladding the main building. We also provided roofing works and Pv panels. The design also incorporated a new entrance door, Shopfront frames, glazing and roller shutters adding.
To finish off the job, making it ready for the new store to open, interior decorative works were carried out, hard landscaping, and we also tarmacked and resurfaced the carpark.
